- Direct Digital Radiography – Sapulpa Equine Hospital offers digital radiography to our hospital and ambulatory patients. Digital radiography allows the images to be viewed and interpreted instantly which decreases the number of retakes, and offers much greater detail when compared to conventional radiographs. The images are saved electronically, and can be shared with your veterinarian, specialist, farrier, or even taken home on compact disk for your future reference.
- Endoscopy - Sapulpa Equine Hospital offers both portable fiber-optic endoscopy and in-house video endoscopy to our ambulatory and hospital patients, respectfully. 1-meter and 3-meter endoscopes are available for evaluation of the upper respiratory tract, upper gastrointestinal tract, urethra, bladder and uterus. Video endoscopy allows clients to view the anatomical structures that the veterinarian is viewing during the exam on a monitor.
- Digital Ultrasound – Ultrasound is utilized to evaluate primarily soft tissue structures, and in some instances bone. Sapulpa Equine Hospital’s team of doctors have extensive training and proficiency in evaluating different anatomical regions of the horse. Ultrasound can be utilized in evaluating, diagnosing and monitoring the healing process of many different conditions. Anatomical structures commonly visualized via ultrasound are tendons, ligaments, heart, lungs, gastrointestinal tract, liver, spleen, kidneys, umbilicus, reproductive tract and abnormal swellings or masses.
